Genesis 1:29 “And God said, ‘Behold I have given every herb-bearing seed which is upon the face of all the earth and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed: to you it shall be for meat’.”
Academia seems to have a blind eye in regards of the medicinal value of God created herbs. This shouldn’t surprise anyone for in fact science researchers and other scholarly people have long took the path of least resistance with published studies. This path always follows the money trail to pharmaceutical drugs. Having said that there is some glimmer of hope that maybe a few good men and women will and have spoken out in a favorable manner regarding medicinal Herbal properties.
At the recent annual meeting of the Association for Psychological Science, scientists are beginning to discover a host of health benefits from common spices and herbs. Many herbs were noted to have positive affects for specific ailments and conditions, although they were quick to point out more studies were needed to authenticate their usefulness.
Herbs have been used for medicinal purposes throughout millennia particularly by the Chinese. Ancient history records innumerably the positive attributes of common herbs, spices, tree foliage and bark, water plants and algae and other God created entities.
The Supplement industry is growing exponentially and can no longer be overlooked as a driving force in how people choose to treat their illnesses. The question will be whether science will take us seriously and begin true unbiased studies in an effort to benefit mankind, or whether to stay on the safe side where the money continues to flow uninterrupted. Regardless of the outcome there are many good people and businesses striving to educate a blinded society that God has given us all the wonderful herbs etc. for our protection and healing of these magnificently created bodies.
